NEWS | AIA Life Designers project : Mohammed VI International University Hospital and Medical School in Rabat, Morocco receives HQE certification
-
earlier this year, the Mohammed VI International University Hospital and Medical School in Rabat, Morocco, designed by AIA Life Designers (hereinafter referred to as "AIA LD"), held a ceremony at the project site to officially receive the HQE international certification! The project was previously completed in September 2025.
This honor is not only recognition of the project team's outstanding work but also marks a solid step forward for AIA LD in the field of sustainable healthcare architectural design. From the very beginning of the design process, AIA LD has upheld a shared goal: to create sustainable healthcare facilities that meet modern medical needs while respecting the ecological environment. This certification is the best affirmation of this original aspiration.
At the certification ceremony, François JALLOT, President of CERTIVEA (the French green building certification organization), and Fahd AOUNI, Head of Africa, jointly presented the certificate. Our sincere gratitude goes to the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health for its meticulous preparation and forward-looking vision, as well as to all the dedicated teams—designers, environmental consultants, partners, and local stakeholders (Project Teams: AIA Life Designers, YLA Studio & Pictogramme). It is your unwavering commitment and relentless pursuit of excellence that have brought this innovative medical landmark to life.
A key step that confirms our commitment to placing environmental quality at the heart of our projects, in France and at every level internationally.
