2nd Affiliated Hospital of Jiujiang University, was officially put into operation

On the morning of October 26, 2022, 2nd Affiliated Hospital of Jiujiang University, which was designed by the AIA Life Designers and completed in conjunction with Shanghai Junyuan Architectural Design Co., Ltd., held a grand operation launching ceremony.
After 28 months, the participating parties overcame the difficulties caused by the epidemic and completed the design, construction and installation of 170,000 square meters in the entire hospital area. This garden-style smart Grade A Academic Hospital finally officially debuted at the foot of the beautiful Lushan Mountain in this golden cinnamon season of October!

AIA Life Designers was invited to participate in the ceremony, and witnessed this highlight moment with leaders at all levels such as Mr. Yang Wenbin, Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee, Mayor of Jiujiang City; Mr. Zhao Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jiujiang University; Mr. Chen Xiaolin, University President and other participating units. As representative of designer, Mr. Yang Hai, Partner of AIA Life Designers and General Manager of China Branch, delivered a speech at the ceremony to congratulate 2nd Affiliated Hospital of Jiujiang University on the smooth operation, and to express heartfelt thanks to the Jiujiang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Jiujiang University, and 2nd Affiliated Hospital of Jiujiang University and all participating units.

This project won the "5th China Hospital Construction Ingenuity Award – Outstanding Medical Architecture Design of the Year" in 2021.
In the project of 2nd Affiliated Hospital of Jiujiang University, AIA Life Designers inherited and realized the vision of "respect to local culture and people-oriented". The beautiful scenery of Mount Lu has given us design inspiration, and the needs of the hospital have given us responsibility.
